Our Offgrid Tiny Home (NamedJadis out of Narnia) sits in a 10 acre field with a long expansive hilltop view of the South Downs National Park. The sunrise is something to behold.
This lovely cabin is the ideal spot to unplug, unwind and absorb the restorative energies of the natural world. Solitude and tranquility are guaranteed at his lovely location and guests are sure to leave inspired, relaxed and reinvigorated. Leave the laptops and phones at home, the anti social experience is completely off grid, but the cabin has all the comforts and conveniences for a relaxing stay.
Built from dark-stained timbers and sitting on iron wheels, this impressive tiny house is thoughtfully designed both inside and out. Well insulated with a wood burner, it is the perfect cosy retreat whatever the weather. The interior is studio-style with the bedroom, living and dining area all-in-one. Light wood panels cover the floor and the ceiling and the magnificent bedroom window allows an abundance of light to stream into the cabin. Wake up to the beautiful views, brew a morning coffee and slope back to bed to take in the lush green surroundings from the warmth and comfort of the cosy beddings and the large double bed.
An ensuite shower room is accessed from the kitchen end of the cabin and there is oodles of hot water to enjoy. Thick, fluffy towels are included.
The well-equipped kitchen has a gas hob and plenty of kitchen equipment including a stove-top coffee maker and cafetière. A compact fridge will keep wine chilled and produce fresh. Basic cooking ingredients are also provided. Opposite the kitchen is a handy bar to enjoy meals and make plans, there is an elongated window where daydreamers can get lost in thought will marvelling at the landscape.
On sunny days, head outside with dinner and enjoy some al fresco feasting at the wooden picnic table. Surrounded by clean air and with only the sound of the breeze in the trees, visitors can while-away hours.
Jadis may feel a world away from civilisation but it is handily situated 10 minute drive from Petersfield for breakfast as well as just a couple of miles from a hamlet with a nice pub - Hawkey Inn. There are many walks to be enjoyed from the cabin door - we will send you our preferred routes upon booking.
