Skegness has a great frequent bus service that covers all the main attractions and goes along the seafront and the pier area. The open-top buses are a good choice if you are travelling to Skegness in hotter months of the year. Buses leave Skegness at around 6 am, and the last bus departing is just after 11 pm.
Tourists especially love the seaside resort because getting around on foot is easy. You can walk to all the main areas and attractions without a car!
The one and only train station of Skegness is located right in the town centre and The Grand Hotel, making all journeys throughout the town easily accessible.

Beaches Near The Grand Hotel Skegness

Being in a seaside resort town means you’re expecting to spend most of your time on the seafront, and Skegness won’t let you down. Great

Nice hotel. And good value for money. Clean rooms. Hot water. TV. Kettle. Staff are very friendly. Beds are comfortable. I liked it that much I booked extra 2 nights. I had room with sea views and a balcony which was nice. The hotel is right on the seafront so close to everything. I always use the grand hotel when in skegness. And would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Parking is at the back of the hotel, there is a sign above the parking place. It has e three spaces only and fills fast.

From 30th September to good Friday which is April you can park in disabled bays outside the front of hotel.
There is also street parking on Scarborough Ave which is 2 minutes walk away from hotel ..
Street parking on Castleton boulevard which is also 5 minutes walk to the hotel ..
Scarborough ave car park this is £2 all day parking ..
Ncp car park which is next to the county hotel on north parade charges apply

Notes:

  • TGH Office computer: a user called Staff with the password set as the kitchen door code.
  • The switches have been replaced with key-operated switches, due to some of the residents can't read English, so the communal lights covering the corridors and stairs have been found to have been switched off, despite a message to the contrary. The key is located on the room peg board should it need to be switched. It is done by David.
